AI Pipers
Digital Montage Photography
$45.00
Photographs taken at Navarre Beach, Florida, USA, then edited, collaged and layered together creating a new photographic image using Photoshop. I use anywhere from 10 to 40 photographs per montage.
The sand piper moves so quickly along the sand, always looking for food. There were many of them on the beach the day I took these photographs. With the waves rhythmically moving in and out, the pipers mimicked the movement to avoid getting wet, and to get the shellfish just buried in the sand. The birds move together as if of one accord. Each one is unique, but grouped here manipulated as I have, they look like carbon copies. How easy it is for AI to create something when we instruct it to, and it's getting all the more sophisticated at doing so. However these beauties are all individual. They may look the same and move the same, but each is special, just like us.
This is a process I have been using for years that I've developed to create the Digital Montages that I do. It's digital cutting, pasting, erasing away; sometimes duplicating and enlarging, or reducing and fading away. It's a timely process, and I adjust the image as I deem fit for my creative vision. None of it is done with AI, or automatic photo stitching.
