A celebration of the seasons in Japan! These pieces were inspired by the long scrolls I'd see about Japan. The figure is added as a silhouette upon the montage of flora to accentuate her kimono/Yukata pattern; while allowing the colors to filter through: like a stained glass window.
This is a process I have been using for years that I've developed to create the Digital Montages that I do. It's digital cutting, pasting, erasing away; sometimes duplicating and enlarging, or reducing and fading away. It's a timely process, and I adjust the image as I deem fit for my creative vision. None of it is done with AI, or automatic photo stitching.

These prints, in particular will have a thin white border on the top and bottom, but will have a thick white border on the sides to keep the long image.
Printed on archival materials with ultra chrome pigment inks, so the colors do not fade over time. Printed on thick, matte Fine Art paper.
