These are small detailed scenes from life in the Hutongs (traditional, lower income living) in Beijing, and other scenes and locations around Beijing. These are odd, little snapshots of daily life around the city. Much of life happens outside, despite the frigid cold temperatures. I followed these two girls for a little bit, taking photos of them. The little one toddled around where ever she pleased, while the responsible, older sister held on to her sister's hood gently; guiding her as needed safely around the outdoor market.
