These are small detailed scenes from life in the Hutongs (traditional, lower income living) in Beijing, and other scenes and locations around Beijing. These are odd, little snapshots of daily life around the city. I love the lost in translation of this piece. Much of life happens outside, despite the frigid cold temperatures.
